Our 5th and 6th class were delighted to be invited to the launch of ‘The Book of Secrets’ a debut novel by Irish writer Alex Dunne. A brisk walk into Henry St was followed by an exciting introduction to the novel by the author including some taster excerpts. This was followed by a Q&A session about both the book itself and the process of writing and publishing a novel. Alex then led and activity to start the children writing their own novel and maybe we will have some famous writers in our school in the future.
