Our Croke Park Mosaic
The Croke Park Mosaic created by the school children with the help of Fionnuala Halpin and Ulrika Holquist commemorating Setanta/ Cú Chulainn.
2015 saw the unveiling of a special mosaic which was created by the pupils of St. Columba’s National School, North Strand. Entitled “Conas a fuair Cú Chulainn a ainm” (How Cú Chulainn got his name), it’s the culmination of nearly two years work by the children and the artists. Supported by Croke Park through its local community fund, the mosaic is hanging in the inner Cusack Stand concourse and will be viewed by many thousands of visitors making their way into the stadium each year.
