Engineering Week
We had a great start to term three with Engineering Week. Our pupils took part in fun and creative challenges that brought engineering to life. From designing structures to solving real world problems, it was a chance for every child to become an engineer.
Junior and Senior infants read the story 'Rosie Revere Engineer'.
1st and 2nd class made towers and then bridges that needed to be strong enough to hold Ms. Walkin's water bottle! 3rd and 4th class made marble maze runs. A big thank you must go to Leon's dad Charles for his presentation and workshop in 5th and 6th class. The pupils reassembled a computer, learning about its various components and how they work together, before successfully getting it up and running. Pupils in 5th and 6th also made periscopes.
Well done to all!
