It was so lovely to see all the amazing acts of kindness from our pupils and indeed our school community. Classes linked up to play games together and do buddy reading - and we had a special treat of hot chocolate and pancakes on the Friday! We also had a charity coat drive and brought hats, scarves and coats down to the local Direct Provision Centre in East Wall.
There was also a tinge of sadness as we bid goodbye to our amazing traffic warden Kitty. The whole school recited a poem for her and presented her with a gift. She was a friendly face to our whole community and she will be sorely missed.
